# Claude Project starter pack

Three files. Drop them into a fresh Claude.ai Project. That Project
becomes your second brain for every documentary, podcast, and wedding
film you cut.

You need **Claude Pro ($20/mo)** to use Projects.

## Setup (3 minutes, one-off)

1. Open [claude.ai](https://claude.ai)
2. Sidebar → "Projects" → "Create Project"
3. Name it whatever (e.g. "Film Brain")
4. Click "Edit project knowledge" → upload all four files from this
   folder:
   - `project-instructions.md` (paste into the *custom instructions*
     field, not as a file)
   - `bbc-earth-narrative.md`
   - `beat-schema.md`
   - `music-cue-conventions.md`
5. Done. Every conversation in that Project now operates on these rules.

## Per-film setup (30 seconds)

When you start a new film, inside the same Project:

- Start a new conversation
- Paste a one-liner: *"This conversation is for [film name]. Type: [doc/wedding/podcast]. FPS: [24/25/23.976]."*
- Drag in any transcripts or reference notes you have

That's it. The Project rules apply automatically. Bridge-compatible
output is the default.

## Files in this pack

| File | What it does |
|---|---|
| `project-instructions.md` | Custom instructions Claude follows in every conversation. Paste once, lasts forever. |
| `bbc-earth-narrative.md` | Reference Claude pulls from when structuring documentaries. |
| `beat-schema.md` | The exact output format the Bridge CLI expects. |
| `music-cue-conventions.md` | How you describe music briefs — keeps Claude's suggestions actionable for Artlist search. |

## Why this works

You currently use Claude like a smart assistant. A Project makes Claude
a **stateful collaborator** — it remembers the rules, the format, your
narrative preferences, and your tools across every conversation.

The Bridge CLI only works if Claude's output matches its expected format.
This pack guarantees that match.
